Since childhood, I have been involved in the arts. I helped my parents with their ceramics business up till college. I used to create ceramic statues (aka mermaid cats) and sell them along side my parents at the art festivals.
I attended University of Central Florida and studied marketing. After that, I was hired by an educational management company to help place international students in the US. While I love my job, I still felt a void and missed having a creative outlet. During my own wedding planning, I was immersed into calligraphy and started learning as much as I could about the technique and art. I find it very therapeutic and relaxing!
When I am not working or writing calligraphy, I love cooking elaborate meals with my husband and pretending we are in a home cooking competition, playing with my goofy Doberman named Andy, spending time with my family, and traveling when I can.
